True Heroes
Look at these stats. Especially the last two. 14 firefighters hurt, 0 civilians hurt. Zero.
These people run *into* fires when everyone else is running out. I've been privileged to know some firefighters. They're all certifiably insane. And all genuine heroes. Every one.
I remember after 9/11 when a fire truck would pass, people on the street would clap. I wish we could go back to that.
